What does MyRingTone.net do?

What phones is MyRingTone.net compatible with?

Currently, only Nokia phones are supported, models known to work include 3210, 61xx, 6210, 7110, 8210, 8810, 8850, 9000i and 910.

What networks can ringtones be sent to?

In the UK, Cellnet, Vodafone, Orange and one-2-one are all supported, as well as derivative networks such as Virgin. MyRingTone.net can reach over a two hundred networks worldwide, in more than ninety countries. The global networks are improving their interconnectivity all the time. For this reason it is not possible to provide a definitive list.

Can I call MyRingTone.net from outside the UK?

Not at this time. However, we are considering placing direct dial numbers in a number of countries other than the UK.

I'm using a non-UK phone in the UK, what should I do?

If you can use your non-UK phone in the UK ("roaming"), and you can receive ringtones from your home network, it is likely that MyRingTone.net can send things to it. When you call the request line, enter your phone number in the international format, exactly as you would give your number to a UK caller.

I requested a ringtone but it never arrived!

Uploads to your phone are usually delivered within a minute of you requesting them. If it hasn't arrived, go here.

Can I copy ringtones to other phones?

Some mobile phones allow a tone from its memory to be sent to another phone directly. However, if the material is copyrighted (as almost all ring tones are), then to do so is a breach of copyright. So the answer to the question is no.

I need a player for your previews

All our previews are MP3 encoded, and therefore you need an MP3 player. Windows Media Player (standard in Windows 98 and above) will play MP3 files, but if you want something different, heres a site with hundreds of MP3 players (opens in a new window)
